Where we are

The Scottish Countryman is located at Hammer Inn near Wormiston by Crail in the East Neuk of Fife.

We are 8 miles from St Andrews on the A917, half way between the Kingsbarns Distillery and Crail.

From Dundee, it takes about 30 minutes to drive here; from Edinburgh? About an hour.

Getting here by car

Your best bet is to put The Scottish Countryman into Google Maps before you set off. That’ll give you our exact location at Hammer Inn and you can then send the details to your phone to keep you right.

Otherwise…SATNAV to post code KY10 3XQ; grid reference NO605092. The post code covers a few places round here, though!

We’re just next to the Wormiston turnoff, which is a mile before Crail on the A917, so look out for the large white sign with the Scottish Countryman branding at our road-end. (If you reach the right turn for Leven on the B9171, you've just missed us - turn back!)

In order to prepare the birds for our bird of prey and owl experiences, we only take advance bookings but you are most welcome to call us on 07801 544 124 to see if we have any same-day availability left.
