Here, you’ll find all my experiences, including boat trips, archery, birds of prey, fly-fishing and workshops. Ages typically 8 and upwards (12 and up for boat trips), but please call me on 07801 544 124 if you need any advice.
Most experiences are for a minimum of 2 participants. Where prices state ‘From £XX…’, this is the TOTAL price for TWO participants.

Hawking Experience
A fantastic and entertaining hawking experience. Spend time with Steve and his Harris hawks to see them in action and learn why they have become so widely used in modern-day falconry.

Recommended maximum number of participants: 4

What will my hawking experience include?
This is an opportunity to go out on a hunting trip with a bird of prey; it’s falconry in action! You will be guided throughout by Steve, but you need to be fit enough to walk through woodland and over rough ground.
Typically, your hawking experience will include:
an introduction to the Harris hawk
a handling session at our base near Crail
transport to our flying ground nearby (location dependent on weather)
following the hawk as it hunts through woodlands

We'll provide you with all the equipment you need, just be sure to wear outdoor shoes and clothing suitable for the weather on the day.
